Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes Split!!
Award winning actress Kate Winslet and her husband/director Sam Mendes have decided to end their seven years of marriage.

“Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year,” their lawyers say in a statement. “The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children.”Winslet and Mendes tied the knot in 2003 and they have a son named Joe. Winslet also has a daughter, Mia, 9, from her first marriage to Jim Threapleton.

Kate Winslet is set for "Mildred Pierce" HBO mini-series
Award winning actress Kate Winslet has signed on to star in the upcoming mini-series "Mildred Pierce" for HBO. It is the 1945 movie that gave Joan Crawford an Academy Award.
The story about a middle-class single mother who sacrifice everything as she struggles to earn her daughter's love during the Great Depression.
This upcoming five-hour miniseries will be directed by Todd Haynes and the production will begin in April.

Kate Winslet want to remain humble; reveals bullied as a child
Enjoying some film break, Kate Winslet was spotted enjoying the nice weather walking around the West Village of New York City, May 1.
Before she got to this A-list level and many see her in the top of her game, she shared in UK’s Marie Claire magazine that she is still the same.
Kate said, "Even now I do not consider myself to be some kind of great, sexy beauty. Absolutely not."
She also reveal as a child that she had bad experience and given a nickname 'Blubber', "I was bullied for being chubby. Where are they now!"

Academy Award nominee Kate Winslet is taking some time out from nudity for her future films as she shared her views in the latest issue of Time.
The Reader star said, “I think I won’t [get naked in a movie] again. I can’t keep getting away with it, and I don’t want to become ‘that actress who always gets her kit off.”It seems she want to be remembered as actress that can deliver anything in any scene without disrobing.

Selena Gomez chose "Revolutionary Road" for the Oscars, want to do challenging roles in the future
Disney teen star Selena Gomez wants to be challenge for her next future roles. This what she described on the roles of Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio in "Revolutionary Road".
She proudly announced her picks for the Oscar night via USmag, "I love Revolutionary Road. That is the movie I want to take all the awards. I can't even get over it.
Selena expresses that she like to do challenging roles, like Winslet?
"Yes, absolutely. I love being challenged."
"I love the Disney channel, and I always want to keep that relationship because they gave me my start, but I'd love to someday make a transition and do roles that are really challenging for me. I'd like to do comedy, romance, anything."

Kate Winslet shared her routine in having a great body, Feb 2009 Elle UK
Revolutionary Road actress Kate Winslet shared her secret in having a nice UK size 10 body even she's a mother of two in the latest February 2009 issue of ELLE mnagazine British edition.
Instead doing a gruelling exercise routine, 33 year-old Kate is doing regular Pilates sessions at her home. She said, "I still don't believe in this craziness for being skinny, but I eat sensibly and I don't stuff down chocolate biscuits.
'I don't go to the gym because I don't have time but I do Pilates workout DVDs for 20 minutes or more every day at home."
Even thought she has amazing and stunning body, she maintain the humbleness attitude in saying that she think herself as "pretty average". She said, "I have cellulite, I have a rumply tummy and my boobs have dropped. I did think that post-kids, my sex scenes days were over."

Kate Winslet bares all on Vanity Fair December 2008
A more sensual Kate Winslet bares it all as she channels the Deneuve character from Belle de Jour in her latest spread in December 2008 issue of Vanity Fair.

Kate on being grateful in being nominated and wanting to win an award: “Do I want it? You bet your fucking ass I do! I think that people assume that I don’t care or don’t want it or don’t need it or something. It’s hard to be there five times, and I’m only human, you know? But I don’t go home and cry, because we’re all grown-ups here.”
Kate on her fashion: I often look at women who wear great jeans and high heels and nice little T-shirts wandering around the city and I think, I should make more of an effort. I should look like that. But then I think, They can’t be happy in those heels.”
Kate on her body: “This is going to sound really weird,” she muses, “but I never had a desire to be famous. I never had huge ambitions—never.… I was fat. I didn’t know any fat famous actresses. I just did not see myself in that world at all, and I’m being very sincere. You know, once a fat kid, always a fat kid. Because you always think that you just look a little bit wrong or a little bit different from everyone else.
