Award winning actress Kate Winslet has signed on to star in the upcoming mini-series "Mildred Pierce" for HBO. It is the 1945 movie that gave Joan Crawford an Academy Award.
The story about a middle-class single mother who sacrifice everything as she struggles to earn her daughter's love during the Great Depression.
This upcoming five-hour miniseries will be directed by Todd Haynes and the production will begin in April.
