Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes Split!!

Award winning actress Kate Winslet and her husband/director Sam Mendes have decided to end their seven years of marriage.

“Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year,” their lawyers say in a statement. “The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children.”

Winslet and Mendes tied the knot in 2003 and they have a son named Joe. Winslet also has a daughter, Mia, 9, from her first marriage to Jim Threapleton.
