The fame-hungry couple reportedly faked their break up in a desperate attempt for publicity and to stay in the headlines when “The Hills” comes to an end.

According USWeekly, an insider says, “Heidi and Spencer are laughing over it and having a blast." and added, "This breakup is the latest part of Spencer’s master plan.”Heidi and Spencer are just doing their dirty publicity stunt to promote their upcoming reality show which was reveal by Heidi's friend Jennifer Bunney who is also in the show.
"Of course Spencer will be in the show," Bunney says. "He is her husband and even though they are separating, he is a part of her life and she's a part of his. He'll be an aspect of the show ... if he wasn't, it wouldn't be realistic."No divorce papers have been filed by the annoying couple.
