Vanessa Hudgens is set to star in the upcoming stage production of "Rent" at the Hollywood Bowl on August 6-8.Hudgens will play the HIV-positive exotic dancer Mimi Márquez and it will be the stage directorial debut of her Beastly co-star Neil Patrick Harris.
Meanwhile, Vanessa's upcoming film "Beastly" will hit the theaters on July 30, 2010. It is a modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast in modern-day New York.
