Last week, rumors are swirling around the net of a remake movie of fictional character Zuma that will feature GMA actor Dingdong Dantes. In a new development, it is indeed that there is a project for Zuma remake but it will be shown in ABS-CBN as a television series.
ABS-CBN with the original Zuma series director Ben Yalung and writer Jim Fernandez has agreed to revive the series and it will center on "Galema, Anak ni Zuma". Their tapping the services of director Wenn Deramas for the small screen. The artist that will do the role of Zuma and Galema are still unknown.
Galema is the daughter of Zuma, who fall in love to a normal human and she has the capability to paralyze and beat her father.
Zuma is a demigod, who has a two headed snake (one head on both ends) that rests on his shoulders. He eats the heart of a virgin woman.
In the movie version in 1985, Zuma was played by Max Laurel and Galema is portray by Snooky Serna.
