The fictional character Zuma is one of the most recognizable and feared character in Philippine comics and movies. The actor that will get the lead role will definitely boost his career.
Every year, rumors are swirling around for the remake of Zuma but the possibility of making this remake is being postponed.
Rumors right now that Dingdong Dantes will do the remake movie of Zuma which originally done by Max Laurel in the 80's.
Dingdong Dantes denies the said rumor via PEP but he claims that he previously talked to the writer of Zuma for a possible remake but he will not play the role of Zuma.
Zuma is a demigod, who has a two headed snake (one head on both ends) that rests on his shoulders. He eats the heart of a virgin woman.
Only two movie has been created for the Zuma series in the 80's : Zuma and Anak ni Zuma (Children of Zuma).
It will be surely a blockbuster hit if their will be a remake of Zuma.

He is a demigod a snake warrior legend icon hero and villain created by Jim Fernandez in the 1970's became popular serialized in Aliwan Comics in 1974-88 also followed in other sequels Anak ni Zuma Angkan ni Zuma Zuma & Maria in Space and others made into 1984 live action film inspired from his role played by Max Laurel and 1986 Anak ni Zuma sequel from 1984 film and becomes a teleserye of 2013 a new role was played by Andi Eigenmann as Galema
