Charlize Theron joining Ridley Scott’s Prometheus

Actress Charlize Theron has secured  a role for Ridley Scott’s sci-fi thriller flick "Prometheus", a prequel film to Alien franchise!

Joining Theron in exploring the nature and origin of the unknown extraterrestrial race are Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender.

Michael Fassbender recently said in his interview that Prometheus is "absolutely connected to Alien and here's a definite connecting vein."

This 20th Century Fox film is slated for release on June 8, 2012.
