Mark Zuckerberg was named Time Magazine's 2010 Person of The Year for his contribution to the world via the social networking site Facebook which connects 500 million users and made him the world's youngest billionaire.
The 26 year-old Facebook CEO/founder got this recognition "for connecting more than half a billion people and mapping the social relations among them; for creating a new system of exchanging information; and for changing how we all live our lives."
Zuckerberg bested WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, Afghan President Hamid Karzai, and the Chilean miners for the top spot.
