CBCP wants to ban Blanktape’s “Banana”; record company decided to pull out

It seems singer Blank Tape will receive more publicity due to Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) objections to his song “Banana” and "Nagmamahal Ako ng Bakla (I Love Gay Men)" as the bishop raised the alarm over the song's sexual undertones.

Caloocan Bishop Deogracias Iñiguez wants Blank Tape's “Banana” song to be ban from radio stations.

Banana song, is a Filipino adaptation of Akon's "Right Now".

UPDATE: Alpha Music Inc., the record company that distributed the Banana single has decided to temporarily pull out the album from music stores.
