Kellan Lutz is Poseidon in "War of the Gods"
"Twilight" star Kellan Lutz has secured a role as a mighty Greek God in the upcoming mythological tale "War of the Gods" opposite Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto.
According to Variety, Lutz has been cast as Poseidon, lord of the sea. The story follows Theseus (Henry Cavill), a young warrior who leads his men into battle with the immortal Greek gods against the elder gods of the Titans.
Tarsem Singh, director of "The Fall" and "The Cell," is helming the flick. Filming will begin in April.

Freida Pinto is set to star in the upcoming Greek mythology flick "War of the Gods" opposite Henry Cavill.

The "Slumdog Millionaire" star will portray Phaedra, an oracle priestess who must join Theseus (Henry Cavill) on his quest to prevent the cataclysmic war between the immortal Greek gods and the elder gods of the Titans from erupting. - Variety.Directed by Tarsem Singh and the production starts in April.
