The new man of steel is taking his relationship one level higher as he is now engaged to be married!
British actor Henry Cavill popped the question to his girlfriend, athlete Ellen Whitaker during a recent trip to Hollywood.
According to Belfast Telegraph, Cavill asked the father of his future bride, Stephen, for permission before delivering the big Q.
Ellen was so excited and says, "I couldn't believe it when he asked me to marry him. I thought we were there to celebrate his birthday. It was such a surprise and I am so happy."
Meanwhile, Henry Cavill is cast as the new Superman and it is set for next year's release.
