Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez emerged the last two standing in American Idol Season 11 but only one contestant must be crowned as this year's winner.

After a record 132 million votes cast, season 11's winner during Wednesday's finale is................

------- Dim the lights and the winner is 21-year-old charmer Phillip Phillips!

Phillip Phillips gave the continues streak of  five wins in a row for the guys (Scotty McCreery -season 10, Lee DeWyze -season 9, Kris Allen -season 8 and David Cook -season 7).
