“New Girl” star Zooey Deschanel and her husband, rocker Ben Gibbard mutually decided to go separate ways, ending their two-year marriage.
"It was mutual and amicable," a source adds. "There was no third party involved."
The 31 year-old actress and Gibbard, who is the frontman for Death Cab for Cutie, tied the knot in September 2009.
