ABC‘s Modern Family was the big winner of the night with 5 Emmy awards while in the movie and miniseries category, PBS‘ Downton Abbey took home 4 trophies.
Jim Parsons, who plays the geeky physicist Sheldon Cooper in the hit sitcom "The Big Band Theory‘s", went home again with the prize of Outstanding Actor in a Comedy which he also last year.
