Mariah Carey to appear on The X Factor but not as Judge

Mariah Carey is officially set for The X Factor but she won't appear as a judge!

According to People, the 41-year-old singer will be a "guest of a judge" and "she is confirmed to tape something with Simon Cowell at the judge’s homes."

Premieres September 21 on Fox.
