Ted Danson will now handle the forensic scene for the Las Vegas crime lab as he joined the hit CBS series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
The 63 year-old award winning actor will play the role of a CSI supervisor, replacing Laurence Fishburne (pathologist Dr. Raymond Langston - 2 years stint).
“You can create a new character on the page, but until the perfect actor comes along and breathes life into it, it’s just words,” said executive producer Carol Mendelsohn. “We’re very excited Ted Danson came along.”
CSI season 12 will premiere September 21st at 10pm.
Meanwhile, Danson will continue his stint on HBO's Bored to Death.
