Another delay for ‘Spider-Man’ Broadway Opening; Sixth Time?

For the sixth time, another delay for the opening night for the Broadway musical "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark".


The play date which is set for March 15 will now be move to June after receiving critical reviews from critics, according to the New York Times.

With no official announcement of the delay, the schedule for March 15 opening night performance and gala afterparty is still on the go. A spokesman for the production said: “Opening night remains scheduled for March 15.”

The most expensive musical in Broadway history is now delivering the 90th preview performance. Other musical holds an average of 30 shows for their previews.

These roles had been originally announced for American actress Evan Rachel Wood and British Alan Cumming, who finally chose to abandon the project.
