Pamela Anderson's PETA ad: "All Animals Have the Same Parts."; Banned In Canada

Former Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson shows off her sexy bikini body while covered in paint markings that mimic a butcher's diagram—her flesh is marked "breast," "round," and "rump" for the new PETA campaign titled "All Animals Have the Same Parts. Have a Heart—Go Vegetarian."
Pamela said, "Humans and animals have a lot more similarities than differences. Both have a brain, a nervous system, and most importantly, a heart. And that's why I'm a vegetarian. I hope that this new campaign helps people come to the same conclusion."

This new provocative ad was supposed to be unveiled in Montreal but Canadian authorities banned the event. They found the new ad as "sexist". According to Montreal officials, “It is not so much controversial, as it goes against all principles public organisations are fighting for in the everlasting battle of equality between men and women.”
"In a city that is known for its exotic dancing and for being progressive and edgy, how sad that a woman would be banned from using her own body in a political protest over the suffering of cows and chickens," Anderson said in a statement released to UsMagazine.com. "In some parts of the world, women are forced to cover their whole bodies with burqas -- is that next? I didn't think that Canada would be so puritanical."

Actually with this controversy, it just created more buzz for the campaign.

I do not feel that this PETA ad should be banned in Canada. I'm not quite 100% sure on what they mean by this ad is "sexist". I do agree that the ad, is provocative. But that was PETA's intention, correct? For PETA to get their message across to the world, they are obviously willing to be as provocative and outstanding as they can. Pamela Anderson is definitely known throughout the world for her body. Which is one reason why PETA wanted HER to appear on the ad naked. What's ironic to me is that the photo shows how she and other humans should not be "cut up" when isn't she world-famous for getting plastic surgery?
