Charlie Sheen (real name: Carlos Irwin Estevez) was released from jail after being arrested on domestic violence charges Friday morning (Dec. 25) in Aspen, Colorado against his wife Brooke Mueller. He posted an $8,500 bond.
The Two and a Half Men actor was booked for second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief, according the Pitkin County Authorities.
Sheen got engaged to Mueller in 2007, they married in 2008 and earlier this year Brooke gave birth to twin boys (Max and Bob).
UPDATE: According to Radaronline, "Charlie Sheen’s wife Brooke Mueller claimed that the actor choked her, leading to his arrest on felony domestic abuse charges."
