The Rob Marshall-helmed motion picture is based on the 1982 Broadway production with the same title. The story centers on the life of famous film director Guido Contini and his numerous women; including his wife, his mistress, his film star muse, his confidant and costume designer, an American fashion, the prostitute from his youth and his mother.
Other cast includes Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Judi Dench, Sophia Loren, Kate Hudson and Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson, scheduled to be released on November 25, 2009.
