Burt Reynolds' on and off-screen pal Dominick "Dom" DeLuise passed away in his sleep at a hospital in Los Angeles, California, May 4, 2009. He was 75 years-old.
DeLuise family said in a statement, "It's easy to mourn to his death, but easier to remember a time when he made you laugh."
Starred in classics like “The Cannonball Run”, "Blazing Saddles” and "Spaceballs", had been ill (undisclosed) for a while according to his son, Michael DeLuise.
