With the success and recognition of the movie "Milk" which tells the life story of gay rights activist and politician Harvey Milk, Sean Penn with other activists in California aew seeking a day to honor the slain activist.
Harvey Milk Day on May 22 (Milk's birthday), Peen tells the media, "It is important that we remember Harvey Milk for his spirit, his courage and his activism.
