NFL player Donte Stallworth is under investiagation for hitting a pedestrian

Cleveland Browns's Donté Lamar Stallworth is under investigation for a hit and run incident in which the victim is reportedly is now dead.

According to TMZ, NFL wide receiver, Donte Stallworth, is being questioned by Miami Beach police after allegedly hitting a pedestrian as he was driving his Bentley earlier this morning. The unidentified victim died shortly thereafter.

Police tell TMZ, they have taken blood samples from Stallworth to see if he has any drugs or alcohol in his system. It's unclear what circumstances caused the accident.

Currently, he has $35 million seven-year deal with the Cleveland Browns that was signed last March 1, 2008.

If he exceeded the legal limit in blood alcohol content, he will be facing a serious criminal liability.
