Lindsay Lohan is battling the arrest warrant issued by Beverly Hills Superior Court for the 2007 DUI and hit-and-run case.
The arrest warrant centers on Linday's failure to comply the terms of her probation, Hollyscoop reports.
As a part of her guilty plea (2007 DUI and hit-and-run case), the actress was placed on 36 months probation and sentenced to 24 hours in jail. She also must complete an 18-month alcohol-education program and perform 10 days of community service.
According to Lindsay's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley via PEOPLE, He called the warrant a "misunderstanding" in a statement.
"Since her case was resolved, Ms. Lohan has been in compliance with all the terms and conditions of her probation and all orders of the court. The warrant issued on Friday was, in our view, born out of a misunderstanding which I am confident I can clear up next week."
The Beverly Hills Police said that their are not actively looking for Lindsay Lohan but she's subject to arrest.
Beverly Hills Police Lt. Mark Rosen said, "We are not actively looking for Ms. Lohan at this time. We are not anticipating her surrender this weekend. But if she comes in contact with police, she's subject to arrest. As for why we're not actively looking for her, that's not our procedure for this type of warrant. Her attorney is hoping to resolve this issue in the coming week. If it's not resolved, I'm sure we'll negotiate her voluntary surrender."
