Honoring the new President-elect Barack Obama on its inauguration, Black Eyed Peas member Will.i.am and composer David Foster collaborated together to create new song entitled "America’s Song" for The Oprah Winfrey Show.
will.i.am said to Oprah, "The meaning of this song is being proud of America. I wanted to write the new American anthem for this day and age -- for this generation."
