Rosie O'Donnell gets daytime TV program on Oprah's channel

Comedian/talk show host Rosie O’Donnell will return to daytime TV under media queen Oprah Winfrey.

Here new program will be launch a talk show on Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) cable network. O’Donnell is very proud about this development, saying, "It's an honor and a privilege to work with Oprah Winfrey on her network. I'm excited to be back on daytime television."

Oprah also shows excitement about O’Donnell in her official statement.
“Rosie is an undeniable talent who has captivated TV audiences for nearly 20 years. She's a true original, who brings her authentic voice, dynamic energy and pure passion to everything she does.”
Rosie hosted "The Rosie O’Donnell Show" from 1996-2002 which she won six Emmys and she also became a moderator on ABC’s The View in 2006, replacing Meredith Vieira.

Oprah Winfrey has reclaim the top seat in Forbes magazine’s annual Power List (2010) earning $315 million over the past 12 months. The list is based from the earnings (past 12 months) and and media visibility (exposure in print, television, radio and online).

The Queen of all Media is back from last year when Angelina Jolie pushed her down to #2. Jolie slides to the 18 spot while the controversial Lady GaGa enters at the #4 spot. Boxing's Pound for Pound king Manny Pacquiao at #55 spot with $42.

Naomi Campbell talks about her violent temper and "Abandonment"

The successful career of Naomi Campbell is now being overshadowed by her "diva" behavior and series of her raging temper tantrums. Naomi, who is turning 40 this month is saying that "she's a work in progress".

Admitting her fault on the Oprah Winfrey Show, "I am ashamed of everything I've ever done. I take responsibility for the things that I have done, and I do feel a great sense of shame."

After an outburst, Naomi says she immediately regrets her actions. "I feel remorseful. I feel ashamed. I feel for them," she says. "[I think,] 'What have I done to them?' If I've hurt them."

"Abandonment" which she experienced plays a big role in her behavior.
"I think it comes from a deeper place than that with me. It comes from another type of emotional disorder, because it's not just, 'I don't get what I want. I throw,'" she says. "It comes from, I think, an abandonment issue, and it comes from also just trying to build up a family around me that's not my immediate family. And if I feel a mistrust, then I really just...all my cards go down."
Naomi's mom, Valerie Morris, was just 19-year-old she left Naomi in someone else's care while she traveled the world and pursed her dream to be a ballerina.

The latest infamous temper of Naomi Campbell happens again during an interview by ABC News. The raging supermodel walks out of an interview and threw a punch to the camera.

The cast of "Glee" will be at The Oprah Winfrey Show

The phenomenal cast of the hit musical-drama show "Glee" will be appearing at The Oprah Winfrey Show on April 7.

According to EW, "It will be devoted to all things Glee. Highlights will include interviews with the entire cast and series creator Ryan Murphy, never-before-seen backstage video, and, natch, a show-stopping performance."

Meanhile, The young singing stars will perform at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on Apr. 5.

Oprah to Interview Jay Leno

Jay Leno will try to build up his reputation as he will appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show next week.

Oprah will do a one-on-one interview with the late-night host and the episode will air Thursday, January 28.

Leno receives deep scrutiny on Conan O'Brien's departure in NBC.

Jay will return to The Tonight Show on March 1.

PETA ad: Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Tyra Banks and Carrie Underwood

First Lady Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Tyra Banks and Carrie Underwood are latest celebrity on PETA's new ad campaign titled, “Fur-Free and Fabulous!”

Controversy are now fuming with this new ad, The White House announced that PETA used the First Lady’s picture without permission.

PETA President Ingrid Newkirk tells The Associated Press that her organization has done nothing wrong. Newkirk explains that PETA honchos didn’t seek Mrs. Obama’s consent because they know that she can’t make such an endorsement.

Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special on Dec. 13

Oprah Winfrey will join President Barack Obama and the first family in an ABC holiday special entitled "Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special".

Aside from the interviews with the Obamas, it will also include a tour of the White House and their preparation for the holiday season.

The special marks the first interview between Oprah and Obama since the former Chicago senator took office.

Oprah said, “I love this show … this show has been my life and i love it enough to know when it’s time to say goodbye. 25 years feels right in my bones and my spirit. It’s the perfect number, the exact right time.”

“For some of you, long time Oprah viewers, you have literally grown up with me … we’ve grown together … you had your family and you raised your children and you left a spot for me in your morning or afternoon — depending on when the Oprah show airs in your town".

Oprah Winfrey ending her talk show in 2011

Oprah Winfrey is preparing to announce the end of her very influential talk show "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 2011 after 25 years.
In a statement by Harpo president Tim Bennett, "Tomorrow, Oprah will announce live on The Oprah Winfrey Show that she has decided to end what is arguably one of the most popular, influential and enduring programs in television history. The sun will set on the Oprah show as its 25th season draws to a close on September 9, 2011."
Oprah will now focus on her cable channel, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).

The Oprah Winfrey Show is currently the longest-running daytime television talk show in the United States.

Sarah Palin on Oprah Winfrey Show on November 16

The long-awaited one-on-one meet will now happen, Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin will appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show on November 16.

Palin will be talking about her upcoming book “Going Rogue: An American Life", due out November 17.

In the 2008 election, the former Republican vice presidential candidate has turned down an appearance on the show. Oprah is the no.1 supporter of Obama.
