Angelina Jolie is very captivating in this July 2008 issue cover of Vanity Fair Magazine. She talks about her childhood, motherhood, growing international family and many more...

Meanwhile, the recent rumored reports about her giving birth last Sunday in France is not true according to her representative.

Here are some excerpt of her Vanity Fair interview:
Angelina Jolie on being pregnant:
“I love it. It makes me feel like a woman. It makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason. It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing. Also, I’m fortunate. I think some women have a different experience depend-ing on their partner. I think that affects it. I happen to be with somebody who finds pregnancy very sexy. So that makes me feel very sexy.”

Angelina Jolie on her international family:
“When I was growing up I wanted to adopt, because I was aware there were kids that didn’t have parents. It’s not a humanitarian thing, because I don’t see it as a sacrifice. It’s a gift. We’re all lucky to have each other. I look at Shiloh—because, obviously, physically, she is the one that looks like Brad and I when we were little—and say, ‘If these were our brothers and sisters, how much would we have known by the time we were six that it took into our 30s and 40s to figure out?’ I suppose I’m giving them the childhood I always wished I had.”

Angelina Jolie on Shiloh’s birth:
“We were in this little hospital in Africa when Shi was born. I don’t think there was anybody else in the hospital. It was just a little cottage, the three of us. It ended up being the greatest thing…. I had a C-section and I found it fascinating. I didn’t find it a sacrifice and I didn’t find it a painful experience. I found it a fascinating miracle of what a body can do.”

Angelina Jolie on nannies:
“We don’t ever have anybody spend the night. We may have to adjust that when the next one comes. But we do have ladies that work with us, and they’re also from different cultures and back-grounds. One lady’s a Vietnamese teacher—wonderful. One is of Congolese descent from Bel-gium. Another is from the States and is really creative and does art programs.”

Angelina Jolie on artists as parents:
“Artists raise their kids differently,” she said. “We communicate to the point where we probably annoy our children. We have art around the house, we have books, we go to plays, we talk. Our focus is art and painting and dress-up and singing. It’s what we love. So I think you can see how artists in some way raise other artists.”

"BABAE AKO" Lyrics

(apt entertainment's URDUJA ost)

babae ako
ano bang dapat kong gampanan
sa daigdig na ating ginagalawan
ang hangganan ko ba'y hanggang saan

babae ako
ako ba'y mayro'ng kapangyarihan
o ako'y isa lamang na bukal
na pagkukunan ng pagmamahal

nais kong lumipad na may sariling bagwis
nais kong marating pangarap nang mabilis
nais kong manguna sa mga maya
para makita ang bagong umaga
ngunit kailan pa
gusto ko na
ngayon na

may galit ako
ngunit pag-asa'y nasa puso ko

bukas ang hamog makikita mo
hihigupin niya ang paru-paro..
ang paru-paro

nais kong lumipad na may sariling bagwis
nais kong marating pangarap nang mabilis
nais kong manguna sa mga maya
para makita ang bagong umaga

Veteran Filipino actor Gabby Concepcion is very busy with his career and court cases left and right.

It seems Gabby's recent problem with Jobert Sucaldito about the whitening product failed endorsement (MET Tathione) will not end there.

MET Tathione manager said in an interview with PEP that they can give the P5 million endorsement fee that Gabby's camp is asking but they feel he's not worth it and spending that kind of money to him is not a good idea. MET Tathione manager also added that they rather to invest and spend it to a younger artist.

Gabby Concepcion signed a deal with Lucida DS worth P5 million. Lucida DS is a direct competitor of MET Tathione.

In a related note, It also seems that MET Tathione won the quality recognition of their product against Lucida DS. In a report by Korina Sanchez on TV Patrol, she revealed that the actual glutathione content of most of the local whitening products in the market is way less than the claimed content posted on its bottle. MET Tathione products are qualified and they passed the test conducted by Philippine Institute of Pure and Applied Chemistry (PIPAC). In the said news Lucida DS and some other products in the market failed to pass the test and they discover small amount of Glutathione content on their product.

Meanwhile, Richard Gutierrez has signed a endorsement deal with MET Tathione and their will be another female artist scheduled to sign a deal with MET management.

A new challenge again for Filipina actress Roxanne Guinoo as she topbills ABS-CBN's newest daytime TV series "Ligaw na Bulaklak" after her stint in the primetime action series "Palos".

The new drama series will replace Kristine Hermosa's "Prinsesa ng Banyera". A weight of responsibilities is on Roxanne shoulders to lift the series and produce good ratings.

The story is about a woman named Lea Alegro (Roxanne) who was scorned by her childhood memories and need to fulfill her life's promise to bind her family together. Lea is a "whisperer" to a champion horse.

The cast includes Kjwan vocalist Marc Abaya, Sid Lucero, Isko Moreno, Coco Martin, Matteo Guidicelli, Erich Gonzales, Carla Humphries, Smokey Manoloto, Arlene Muhlach, Ron Morales, Jaymee Joaquin, Nonie Buencamino, Joem Bascon, and Chokoleit with the special participation of Jodi Sta Maria.

I'm not sure but the title of the series was change four times. The first title is "Wild Flower", it was change to "Cattleya" and suddenly it becomes "Ligaw". Finally they decided to change it again and makes it "Ligaw na Bulaklak".

The series will start this Monday, May 26, 2008.

After her nice leggy and rockin' cover in British GQ magazine, Cameron Diaz share some insights and express that she want it all in the June 2008 issue of InStyle magazine.

Some excerpts:

Cameron on sex and being sexy: “Are you kidding? I love men. Sex is the best! …You have to really enjoy [being sexy]. Not fake anything. Sexy is being in the moment, whether that means being coy or coming on hard. Faking is always lame and it never comes across the way you want it to.”

Cameron on her dating life: “I’m a woman. Of course I’m dating. And is that so surprising? Oh my god, she’s dating!

Cameron on what’s sexier: black eyeliner or red lips: “I like black eyeliner. I think red lips are sexy, but they’re not as kissable. Guys are afraid to kiss red lips. They don’t want to get on them.”

Cameron on whether she thinks the bed, the club or the sofa is the sexiest date spot: “I like the sofa. I just think it’s more intimate.”

It's about time!! ABS-CBN's teleserye "Prinsesa ng Banyera" is finally taking a bow next week (May 19-23, 2008). Honestly speaking, ABS-CBN must air a better show/series than this Banyera series.

"Prinsesa ng Banyera" done many overhauls during the nine-month stint but still few are interested in this series. When they cut Angelika Dela Cruz and then they added Ara Mina and Oyo Boy Sotto, the affect is just minimal. They also done some publicity strategy but the result just the same....

The problem is not on the actors or the actresses but it is on the structure of the story that bored the viewers.

7 Things LYRICS

I probably shouldn't say this
But at times I get so scared
When I think about the
Previous relationship
That we shared
It was awsome, but we lost it
Is that possible for me
Not to care?
And now were standing in the rain
But nothings ever gonna change
Until you hear
My dear
THE 7 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU
The 7 things I hate about you
Your things
Your games
You're insecure
You love me
You like her
You made me laugh
You made me cry
I don't know which side to buy
Your friends, they're jerks
When you act like this, just know it hurts
I want to be with the one I know
And the 7 things
I hate the most that you do
You make me love you
It's awkward and silent
As I wait for you to say
What I need to hear now
Is your sincere apology
When you mean it
I'll believe it
If you text it
I'll delete it
Let's be clear
Well I'm not coming back
You're taking 7 steps here
The 7 things I hate about you
Your things
Your games
You're insecure
You love me
You like her
You made me laugh
You made me cry
I don't know which side to buy
Your friends, they're jerks
When you act like this, just know it hurts
I want to be with the one I know
And the 7 things
I hate the most that you do
You make me love you
I've been through all
The great things
That would take to long to write
I probably should mention
The 7 that I like
The 7 things I like about you
Your hair
Your eyes
Your old goodbyes
When we kiss I think about the time
You make me laugh
You make me cry
But I guess that's bullsh*t I'll have to buy
Your hands in mine
When they're intertwined
Everything's alright
I want to be with the one I know
And the 7 things
I like the most that you do
You...

Maroon 5 and Rihanna recorded and re-release the remixed music video of “If I Never See Your Face”.

This single is the fourth single from Maroon 5’s second studio album "It Won’t Be Soon Before Long" and it was re-recorded with some extra versus by Rihanna and they re-release on Rihanna’s third studio album "Good Girl Gone Bad."

The director Anthony Mandler shot this video in Los Angeles.

“If I Never See Your Face Again” Lyrics

[Adam]
Now as the summer fades, I let you slip away
You say I’m not your type, But I can make you sway.
It makes you burn to learn, You’re not the only one
I’d let you be if you put down your blazing gun.

[Rihanna]
Now you’ve gone somewhere else, Far away
I don’t know if I will find you (find you, find you).
But you feel my breath, On your neck
Can’t believe I’m right behind you (right behind you).

[Both]
‘Cause you keep me coming back for more
And I feel a little better than I did before
And if I never see your face again, I don’t mind
‘Cause we gone much further than I thought we’d get tonight

[Rihanna]
Sometimes you move so well
It’s hard not to give in.

[Adam]
I’m lost, I can’t tell
Where you end and I begin.

[Adam]
It makes me burn to learn
I’m with another man.

[Adam]
I wonder if he’s half
The lover that I am.

[Adam]
Now you’ve gone somewhere else, Far away
I don’t know if I will find you (find you, find you).
But you feel my breath, On your neck
Can’t believe I’m right behind you (right behind you).

[Both]
‘Cause you keep me coming back for more
And I feel a little better than I did before
And if I never see your face again, I don’t mind
‘Cause we gone much further than I thought we’d get tonight

[Adam]
Baby, baby
Please believe me
Find it in your heart to reach me
Promise not to leave me behind
(Promise not to leave me behind)

[Rihanna]
Take me down, but take it easy
Make me think but don’t deceive me
Talk to me bout taking your time
(Talk to me, talk to me)

[Rihanna]
‘Cause you keep me coming back for more
And I feel a little better than I did before

[Both]
And if I never see your face again, I don’t mind
‘Cause we gone much further than I thought we’d get tonight

[Both]
‘Cause you keep me coming back for more
And I feel a little better than I did before
And if I never see your face again, I don’t mind
‘Cause we gone much further than I thought we’d get tonight

In every achievement there will be always a person or a thing that influenced life's journey.

ABS-CBN's ASAP host Gary "Mr. Pure Energy" Valenciano has achieved the recognition of being one of top Filipino artist. In this year he is celebrating his 25th anniversary in showbiz.

Aside his 25th celebration, Gary also released his latest album Rebirth and in his interview with Ricky Lo he share more than two dozen names that influenced him.

For his schedules visit his official websaite, garyv.com.

After the jump are the Gary V's list......

On Ricky Lo's columnm Gary has listed 25 personalities that influenced his life and career.

1. MICHAEL W. SMITH — He introduced me to the art of modern worship to Jesus. I met him in Puerto Rico during the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Global Mission concert in 1995.

2. STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN — I just love the purity and creativity of every inspirational song; the man who wrote I Will Be Here.

3. STEVIE WONDER — Though blind, he still manages to see with eyes of his heart.

4. JAMES TAYLOR — The simplicity of his music always manages to leave its mark on the listener’s heart.

5. AL JARREAU — He doesn’t dance but his vocal gymnastics always gets me movin’.

6. PHIL COLLINS –- No one else sounds like him.

7. STING — There’s just something about his music that digs deep into the soul.

8. DAVID FOSTER — An exceptional songwriter/producer who simply always brings out the very best in every artist he works with. From Earth, Wind & Fire to Josh Groban, David Foster is truly one of music industry’s major contributors.

9. EARTH, WIND & FIRE — There’s never been any other group quite like them and never will there ever be any other group that has created sounds and rhythms that have transcended generations.

10. BARRY MANILOW -– Maybe it’s because I’m Pinoy, or maybe because I was once a hopeless romantic but whatever the reason may be I think it all boils down to the fact that the man has simply sung songs that stirred my heart.

11. MICHAEL JACKSON — Usher and Justine are just two of many who have included a touch of Michael in their performances. It’s like the two best learning from the very best.

12. CHICAGO — I grew up with their music, I will grow old and grey with their music as well.

13. QUINCY JONES — James Ingram was the voice behind the hit Just Once but it was producer Quincy Jones that put it all together. One artist I truly respect. He was also highly responsible for producing one of the biggest selling albums of all time, Michael Jackson’s Thriller album.

14. BRIAN TRENCEAU (BT) — For me, he is to music what Albert Einstein is to science. He is an absolute genius with his whole arsenal of ideas that fits any genre. From film scores to dance music, he for me is the most innovative and probably the best on my list.

15. MON FAUSTINO — My musical arranger, vocal arranger, musical director for over 15 years now. His passion and dedication to his craft and his God is quite infectious. Also a great and thoughtful friend. (He is considered one of, if not, the best vocal arrangers in the pop music scene.)

16. JAY DURIAS — There’s a certain feel to his work that always makes me listen to it again and again. Great, great songwriter and producer.

17. BRIAN McKNIGHT — He is probably one of the most versatile male vocalists today. He is a master at using his vocals. I really admire his talent and am privileged to have guested him in my concert in LA a couple of years ago at the Shrine Auditorium.

18. SAMMY DAVIS JR. — If anyone can watch this man’s past performances, you will see why he’s on my list.

19. JAMES HORNER, TREVOR RABIN, JOHN WILLIAMS, HANS ZIMMER, JAMES NEWTON HOWARD, CHRISTOPHER BECK, STEVE JABLONSKY — These are only some of a group of artists who have perfected the art of completing what we watch in movies by creating musical scores that take the experience of watching to new levels of action, love, realization, understanding, joy, tears and laughter.

20. BURT BACHARACH — His music, if and when played, 20 years from now, will still create the same impact it continues to have on everyone.

21. SERGIO MENDES — It’s like this man never really went with the flow but went his own way and took many of us for the ride. I absolutely love his music.

22. FRANK SINATRA— When one hears a voice that seems to fit in to the category of being one that is classic, genuine, unique, soothing, moving, relaxing, entertaining, captivating, there is one standard the world goes by — Frank Sinatra.

23. TONY BENNETT — If you haven’t yet heard his Duets album, go get yourself a copy now. This is one man whose voice has never deteriorated with time, but rather, has only gotten better. How he does it I do not know but he is on my list for sure.

24. THE CARPENTERS — It’s more than just the music. It’s the memory of my family: All seven children, mom and dad, putting up the Christmas tree, celebrating New Year’s Day, or simply hanging around in our house in Greenhills on the first day of summer break. Somehow, I remember their music playing when these images come in to my mind.

25. THE BEATLES — Need I say anything more?

FADER magazine on its annual icon issue (May/June 2008) gives honor to the late R&B princess, Aaliyah. The issue features contributions from both professional, family and personal friends.

"It only took Aaliyah a few albums to make an indelible mark on the world of pop music, but today her influence can be felt across numerous genres," said Chris Richards, Executive Editor of The FADER. "This issue not only tracks that influence, but also offers a more personal glimpse into the life of a true pop visionary."

Here's are some excerpts:

Missy Elliott
“We was gonna save the world. We was gonna change music every chance we got. We was gonna always be family. Forever.”

Mark Ronson
“If it wasn’t for Aaliyah being the face and voice of [Missy Elliott and Timbaland’s] sound they might have never got to where they did. They were presenting their sort of brilliant but challenging breakthrough music through this beautiful young girl who could sing it perfectly.”

Kidada Jones
“I think about her all the time…Anytime she’s brought up or her music comes on the radio, it’s sweet, but it definitely sounds like she found a niche before it was here. If you listen to her music it’s so relevant today, but we had it so long ago.”

Damon Dash
“She was already a fashion icon, she was getting into movies, she had already planted that seed. If she was alive today she would be so relevant. I see little bits of her everywhere I look, in a lot of artists.”

Jomo Hankerson
“I think a lot of that mysteriousness they talk about was just what she was. She seemed like she came here already grown up, from the beginning.”

Seven years ago, Aaliyah was killed in a plane crash and the entertainment industry were all mourning for her untimely death.

It is a one album deal from ABS-CBN's Star Records and this album will be released internationally on 10th May and will be available at ABS-CBN Starry Starry Store website.

"It Can Only Get Better" LYRICS

Let the sun refuse to shine
It won't be long before the days are brighter
If every step's an uphill climb, oohh
Carry on until they feel much lighter
For all the clouds up in the sky, oohh
For all the teardrops in our eyes

It can get only get better
Be still my heart
It can only get better
We've come this far
It can only get better
I know it hurts
For what it's worth
It can only get better

If he should ever come our way
Dry the tears and look somewhere above him
Might be easier to say than to do
But just pretend that you no longer love him
When your back's against the ropes, oohh
When you miss someone the most

It can get only get better
Be still my heart
It can only get better
We've come this far
It can only get better
I know it hurts
For what it's worth
It can only get better

I know it hurts, oohh
For what it's worth
It can only get better
It can only get better

I know it hurts
For what it's worth
It can only get better
It can only get better

Today May 4 is the birth date of an Icon. She is one of the most beautiful woman of all time, an award winning actress in stage and in film, fashion and a humanitarian ambassador. I'm talking about the late Audrey Hepburn.

She won the 1953 Academy Award for Best Actress for Roman Holiday. She was nominated for Best Actress four more times; for Sabrina, The Nun's Story, Breakfast at Tiffany's, and Wait Until Dark. She was not nominated for her performance as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, one of her most acclaimed performances.

For her 1967 nomination, the Academy chose her performance in Wait Until Dark over her critically acclaimed performance in Two for the Road. She lost to Katharine Hepburn (in Guess Who's Coming to Dinner).

Audrey Hepburn was one of the few people who have won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony Award.

In December 1992, one month before her death, Hepburn received the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her work in UNICEF. This is one of the two highest awards a civilian can receive in the United States. Check out this site for more info in her life and career.

Audrey was born May 4, 1929 and died, January 20, 1993.

Below are some video of the Audrey Hepburn after the jump.......

Everyday the audience will be asked a poll question about the house player’s move to which they must text to Kuya their chosen answer. Catch the house player’s entrance and the details of his/her task tomorrow live in front of the Big Brother house.

Again, another income making text contest for the PBB.

Marian Rivera done it again. Undeniably, Marian is today's Philippines primetime queen with her new TV fantasy series "Dyesebel". Her team up with Dingdong Dantes for the second time is really a success.

"Dyesebel" TV series maintain the no. 1 spot in primetime programming.

Bae Yong Joon's "The Legend" is fairly maintaining the 5th and the 6th spot in the primetime block.

We can see an early axe in the future on GMA show like Gobingo's due to it's poor performance against ABS-CBN's Wheel of Fortune.

This is based on the overnight ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households.

Country pop singer Carrie Underwood has just released a music video for her third single entitled “Last Name” from her second studio album, Carnival Ride.

The song is one of four tracks on the album co-written by Underwood. "Last Name" is composed by her, Hillary Lindsey and Luke Laird.

The video and the song is about a woman hook up with a man in Las Vegas after a drink. She wakes up the next morning to discover that she doesn't even know her last name.

“Last Name” Lyrics

Last night, I got served a little bit too much of that poison, baby
Last night, I did things I'm not proud of
And I got a little crazy
Last night, I met a guy on the dance floor and I let him call me baby

[Chorus:]
And I don't even know his last name
My momma would be so ashamed
It started off, "hey cutie where you from"
And then it turned into oh no, what have I done
And I don't even know his last name

We left, the club, 'bout around 3 o'clock in the morning
His Pinto, sitting there, in the parking lot, well it should have been a warning
I had no clue what I was getting into
So, I'll blame it on the Cuervo
Oh where did my manners go?

[Chorus:]
I don't even know his last name
Oh My momma would be so ashamed
It started off, "hey cutie where you from"
And then it turned into "oh no, what have I done"
And I don't even know his last name

Here we go

Today, I woke up, thinking about Elvis somewhere in Vegas
I'm not sure how I got here
Or how this ring on my left hand just appeared outta nowhere
I gotta go take the chips and the Pinto and hit the road
They say what happens here, stays here, all of this will disappear

There's just one little problem

[Chorus:]
I don't even know my last name
Oh My momma would be so ashamed
It started off, "hey cutie where you from"
And then it turned into "oh no, what have I done"
And I don't even know my last name

What have I done
What have I done
What have I done

Oh, what have I done
I don't even know my last name

Well it turned into, oh no what have I done
And I don't even know my last name
Yea, Yeah, Yeah

I don't even know my last name
It started off "hey cutie where you from"
And then it turned into, oh no what have I done
And I don't even know my last name
Oh, yeah
