Yukie Nakama (popularly known as Yankumi/Yamaguchi Kumiko) is saving the earth, Tokyograph reports.
Yukie and boy band Arashi will be hosting NTV's charity program "24 Hour Television" with this year's theme "Love Saves the Earth" on August 30-31.
The said show will feature her in character as Yankumi (Gangster's grand daughter turned Teacher) from the "Gokusen" drama series.
The Gokusen series is now on their third season.
