Former Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson is now out of jail after rolling out $15,000 bail stemming from the felony domestic violence charge involving his ex-girlfriend.
According to TMZ, "Johnson was released from Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas at 11:00 PM after posting $15,000 bond."
Johnson was arrested early Friday at a Las Vegas Strip resort after allegedly assaulting and strangled his ex-girlfriend at the Bellagio hotel. The victim was found with bruises and scratches on her neck.
Johnson received the All-Pro and Kansas City Chiefs MVP in 2005 and 2006. He was drafted from Penn State in the first round of the 2003 NFL draft.
Court appearance is set on October 11.
