Selena Gomez got the necessary restraining order protection from the court against a mad man who threatened to kill her!
46-year-old stalker named Thomas Brodnick has a history of mental illness and he admitted to a mental health professional that he "entertained thoughts of killing Ms. Gomez."
The court docs says she's in "extreme fear" over the death threats and the suspect visited Selena's workplace at least three times.
The court is ordering Thomas Brodnick to stay 100 yards away from 19-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place star and her workplace. The temporary restraining order against Brodnicki could be extended to last three more years in a hearing set for Nov. 4.
