Regal Films' Lily Monteverde withdraw MMFF entry “Hototay”

Regal Films' producer Lily Monteverde announced that she's pulling out the movie entry, “Hototay” starring veteran actress Nora Aunor from the upcoming 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

Nora's health issue is said to be the reason that they decided to withdraw the entry. Also, they don't want to sacrifice the quality of the film.

Maybe health is a issue but many thinks that the MMFF's box office battle is one of the big reason.

It seems it is the right thing to do in protecting Nora Aunor's image especially if this will be her comeback movie.
