ABS-CBN will be facing more years of tough competition with Eat Bulaga. The longest running noontime television show in the Philippines via TAPE Inc., secured a deal to extend the show's contract to GMA-7 for another three years.
The previous original agreement is supposed to end in 2012 and now the fun will extend until 2015!
The contract signing happened last Friday, March 11, 2011. Signing for TAPE Inc. are President and CEO Antonio Tuviera and SVP and COO Malou Choa-Fagar while for the Kapuso Network, GMA Chairman and CEO, Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, at GMA President and COO, Mr. Gilberto R. Duavit Jr.
