"The King's Speech" reigned supreme winning Best Picture at the 83rd annual Academy Awards on Sunday night (February 27).
"The King's Speech" also received three more awards for Best actor (Colin Firth), Best Director (Tom Hooper) and screenwriter (David Seidler).
Natalie Portman was named as Best Actress for her role in the film "Black swan", her first Oscar award. Christian Bale was named best supporting actor for his role as ex-fighter-turned-addict Dicky Edlund in the "The Fighter".
