Checkout the red band trailer for Matthew Vaughn’s big screen adaptation of "Kick-Ass", featuring 12 year-old actress Chloe Moretz as the young with a killer-instinct vigilante "Hit Girl" [Watch the trailer clip below]

Kick-Ass is about a teenage comic boy reader named Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), who decides to become a real-life superhero after being inspired by comic books he reads. He soon encounters a mysterious vigilante called Big-Daddy (Nicolas Cage), and his daughter Hit Girl (Chloë Moretz), who are working to bring down the drug baron, Frank D'Amico.

Kick-Ass hits theaters April 16, 2010.
