Michael Phelps suspended 3 months and Kellogg decided not to extend his contract endorsement

Swimming Champ Michael Phelps knows that a sanction will be given to him for the controversial cannabis photo scandal.

Phelps has been suspended from competition and denied financial support for three months by USA Swimming organization.
USA Swimming rep. said in a statement, "This is not a situation where any anti-doping rule was violated, but we decided to send a strong message to Michael because he disappointed so many people, particularly the hundreds of thousands of USA Swimming member kids who look up to him as a role model and a hero," the federation says in a statement. "Michael has voluntarily accepted this reprimand and has committed to earn back our trust."
His apology statement failed to save one of his endorsement contract.Kellogg company also shows dismay on the said pot controversy and decided not to extend Phelp's contract which will expires at the end of February.
Kellogg's said in a statement, "We originally built the relationship with Michael, as well as the other Olympic athletes, to support our association with the U.S. Olympic team. Michael's most recent behavior is not consistent with the image of Kellogg. His contract expires at the end of February and we have made a decision not to extend his contract."
A single photo caused him a endorsement contract. Surely his agent is now scratching his head.
