It seems Mickey Rourke is banking all the interesting movie projects under his belt. Previously it was reported that he will be joining the international cast of Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables." Now, he is reportedly the next villain of the forthcoming sure hit movie "Iron Man 2".
Reportedly, Rourke will be playing as Tony Stark's Russian alter ego, a heavily tattooed bruiser who is in the arms trade and battles Iron Man in his own nuclear-powered armored suit.
Robert Downey Jr. enemies will not end there, actor Sam Rockwell is also being eyed to play as Justin Hammer, a multibillionaire businessman and a rival of industrialist.
The project is scheduled to shoot this spring in Manhattan Beach. Paramount will release the movie May 7, 2010.
