Former Bahamian Minister of Tourism Obie Wilchcombe, the so-called close friend of the Travolta family and the suspect of the alleged extortion plot to John Travolta gave an interview via usmag, denying his involvement and saying his innocent.
Obie said that the only thing that he has done is to help the actor and his family, "I did a noble thing."
Wilchombe also reveals the attempted extortion was committed by "one single individual."

Wilchcombe tells Usmag he was approached early last week by Bridgewater who alerted him that "someone was doing something untowards" and that he passed this information to Travolta's lawyers, Michael Ossi and Michael McDermott.
Wilchombe also reveals the attempted extortion was committed by "one single individual."
