Due to an unfortunate circumstances, 40 year-old Maria Nona "Niña" Ortiz of Quezon City was force to quit from Survivor Philippines due to a fractured toe injury.
Niña's toe turned out to be fractured and a cast had to applied for it to heal. Even she is out, she is happy because she was not voted off by her fellow Jarakay tribemates.
Niña's final message, "Itong experience ko dito sa island, hindi ko makukumpara sa kahit anong experience. Mahirap talaga i-describe. Hindi man ako nakarating sa dulo, hindi man ako naging sole Survivor, it's not the prize, it's not the money. It's the privilege of having been through sauch ano, nag-sacrifice ka, nag-challenge ka, nakisama ka, nakibagay ka. Tsaka legacy ko na yun."
Tonight will be an another Tribal council for the Naak Tribe after they loss the immunity challenge.
