Paula Abdul: "want to do a talk show because it would be different"
After leaving American Idol, Paula Abdul is eying to have her own talk show and she also tells TV Guide her feelings about her "Idol" departure.
Paula on having her own talk show and the kind of format she will offer: "Absolutely. I definitely want to do a talk show because it would be different. Well, since there is talk about me possibly doing one I don't want to give the goodies away. I'd be Paula. It would be a lot of fun variety with a ton of unexpected stuff and tributes to everyday people getting their big chance."
No regrets about leaving American Idol? : "You know, to say 'no regrets' isn't easy. I feel like I have been such a big, huge part of the success of the show from day one. I loved being able to be the artist's artist; being there from my point of view of knowing what it feels like to be vulnerable and to be out there wanting to achieve the most magical moment in a minute and thirty seconds. To be able to do that was an amazing experience and the show was wonderful for me in that regard."
Meanwhile, Paula Abdul will host this year's "Vh1 Divas" on Sept 17th and she recently finished two episodes of Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva.

“Ugly Betty” hires Kristen Johnston than Paula Abdul due to "Private Jet" demand
It seems Paula Abdul lavish demands will put her on the bench for a while. The former American Idol judge failed to closed another deal with her reported demands like a "Private Jet".
PETA supporter and "3rd Rock from the Sun” star Kristen Johnston was tapped to replace Abdul in the now-recurring role of Helen, newest office temp and Amanda’s elder doppelganger in the TV show “Ugly Betty”.
I hope Paula will try to cut some of her demands in her future deals or else.

[Photo courtesy by Jason Merritt/Getty Images]
According to TMZ, "Sources connected to Paula Abdul say Miss Paula wants back on "American Idol."It seems negotiations for the others shows doesn't go well for Paula.
Our sources say Paula's Twitter is retracted -- at least in her mind - if the price is right. As we first reported, the magic number is $10 million. Will Paula move from that number? The way negotiations go in Hollywood ... probably, but we don't know for sure and if so how much she's willing to give."

Kara DioGuardi on Paula Abdul's departure: “It’s such a loss for the show"
American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi is sad and shocked over Paula Abdul’s sudden departure from American Idol this week and she is hoping Paula will “reconsider”.
Still looking for AI's fourth judge, AI management signed Katy Perry and Victoria Beckham as guest judges.

“I can’t get over it. Completely shocked,” Kara said during an interview on KIIS FM’s On-Air with Ryan Seacrest on Friday. “It’s such a loss for the show, such a loss for the contestants.”
She added, “She’s definitely the heart of the panel and the kind of heart she treats the contestants with she treated me with last year during the auditions. She was so kind to me and made me feel immediately like I was part of the panel. And I hoping she’ll reconsider.”
“The way I’m understanding, it was her choice to leave,” Kara told Ryan. “How could you ever replace [her]? She’s an incredible talent. She is somebody who helped to make the show as big as it is. And how could you ever replace that?”FOX denies speculations that that hiring Kara is their "insurance policy" if Abdul will leave the show.
