The Bourne Legacy' tops box office; 'Dark Knight' falls to 3rd


(August 10-12, 2012 -US)

The expansion of the 'Bourne' franchise continues to be a hit as  Jeremy Renner's "The Bourne Legacy" took the spot weekend gross chart by generating $40,265,000.


Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis' political comedy "The Campaign" landed on the second spot with $27.44 million. 

From the top spot, "The Dark Knight Rises" slides downs to the third spot.
