NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire’s brother, Hazell Stoudemire, was involved in an unfortunate car accident on Route 27 in Lake Wales, Florida on Monday morning (February 6). Hazell died on the scene.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Hazell was driving at a “high rate of speed” and was not wearing a seat belt when he collided with the rear of a tractor trailer.
Authorities are still investigating if alcohol was a factor.
