Singer James Durbin is rocking and ringing 2012 as a married man!

The former 'Idol' alum tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Heidi Lowe on New Year's Eve in in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

The newly weds tells PEOPLE:

"We are so in love and happy that we got to share our special day with our closest family and friends. "This wedding was the perfect way to kick off the New Year. We are looking forward to living happily ever after."

They exchanged vows in front of 85 guests with their 2-year-old son, Hunter, who served as ring bearer.

More sweet together for the two. Congratulations!!!
