Bachelor Brad Womack’s former fiancée, Emily Maynard, is now set to look for the right one as she signed on to become the next star of ABC’s “The Bachelorette” season 8.
The romance between single mom Emily and Brad quickly ended as they struggled to maintain their relationship -- calling off their engagement last summer.
Reportedly, the show has decided to move production to Emily's hometown, Charlotte, N.C. so Emily can stay with her daughter, Ricky.
"It's official, Emily is the new Bachelorette," an insider close to Emily tells Life & Style. "ABC is even going to move filming to Charlotte [North Carolina, Emily's hometown]. It won't be in LA at all."
It will start filming in March.
Emily Maynard, the former fiancee of the late Ricky Hendrick (son of NASCAR owner Rick Hendrick). She was also linked to Jeremy Shockey and Matt Nordgren.
