Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant will be having a minor changes on his plans this holiday season... His wife Vanessa Bryant has filed for divorce, ending their 10-year marriage!
Citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split and also according to the court documents (via TMZ), Vanessa wants joint custody of their two daughters, Natalia, 9, and Giana, 6.
"We ask that in the interest of our young children and in light of the upcoming holiday season, the public respect our privacy during this most difficult time," the couple released statement.
Vanessa displayed her support to Kobe during the 2003 sexual assault scandal in which her husband was accused of assaulting a hotel employee in Colorado (the charges were later dropped).
Vanessa signed the papers on Dec. 1 while the basketball superstar filed his response on Dec. 7.
Kobe will be needing a bigger rock.....
