Barry Manilow will be temporarily out from the spotlight as he is now undergoing a hip repair surgery -- the day after completing a seven-year run of shows in Las Vegas.
According to USA today, the 68-year-old Manilow had the surgery to repair torn abductor muscles and to have bursas removed in both hip.
Manilow will be in recovery for six weeks, but will return to the stage for a series of three concerts at the Chicago Theater in February and at Radio City Music Hall in New York
Manilow recently completed his 1,000th show at the Las Vegas Hilton and The Paris Resort in a seven-year run.
