KISS bassist Gene Simmons is finally sealing the deal to long girlfriend Shannon Tweed as they decided to tie the knot on Oct. 1 in Beverly Hills.
The 61-year-old rocker, who has been in a relationship with 54 year-old Tweed for 28 years, got some interesting wedding invitations being sent out. It includes a message from their two children -- Nick, 22, and Sophie, who is now 19 years-old.
"After 28 years of two loose strings, our parents have finally decided to tie the knot. Our mother will share our horrendous hyphenate of a last name and our father's life... well, it doesn't change much." At the end, "As annoyingly long as that is, We hope you're on it."
Also, the guests are requested to wear "classy cocktail attire" but they hilariously added, they "know some rock star attire will be worn".
The season six of their reality TV show "Gene Simmons: Family Jewels" ended with a proposal and now, the A&E will air the seventh season on October 4 -- arrangements of their nuptial will be surely included in the coming episodes.
28 years of emotional roller coaster for sure and finally they realized that sealing their love to each is last thing to do.
