‘Glee’ Jane Lynch will Host the 2011 Emmy Awards

Actress Jane Lynch received her first Emmy win for her feisty role as Sue Sylvester in 2010 and now she will continue her winning streak by hosting the 2011 Emmy Awards on September 18 live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

"I am tickled pink to be hosting the Primetime Emmys on FOX," said Lynch. "I'm looking forward to singing, dancing and sporting my finest tracksuit."
Executive producer Mark Burnett shared that 50 year-old Glee star is on the top of her list.
"Jane was my first - and only - choice as the host for this year's Primetime Emmys, and I am glad she said 'yes'. She has incredible comedic timing, and is a charismatic, talented actress whose energy leaps off the screen and stage. I am thrilled and excited to have her as our host."
Nominations for the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards will be announced July 14 from the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre.
