High intensity performance from Beyonce as she performed her new single “Run the World (Girls)” at the Billboard Music Awards 2011 at the MGM Grand on Sunday (May 22).
Introductory video was initially presented featuring her parents (Tina Knowles and Mathew Knowles) , First Lady Michelle Obama, Stevie Wonder, Bono, Babyface, Lady Gaga and Barbra Streisand -- paying tribute to her influence to the music scene and social contribution to the world.
Beyonce received the Billboard Millennium Award for her career achievements.
