Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes experienced all the ups and downs with their controversial relationship. Now, the two finally sealed their love by tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in Malibu, California (Friday April 22).
"LeAnn and Eddie were happily married today surrounded by their closest family and friends," the bride's spokesman, Rhett Usry, confirms exclusively to PEOPLE. "They thank everyone for their well wishes."
40 guests attended the ceremony including Eddie’s sons, 7 year-old Mason and 4 year-old Jake, from his first marriage.
The couple faced criticism when the affair and relationship was revealed in 2008 because they were both married at the time. Rimes is with Dean Sheremet while Eddie Cibria is with his wife Brandi Glanville and children.
